Niki Shishido is the Executive Director of the Pacific & Asian Affairs Council (PAAC). She has been with PAAC since 2013 and has previously served as the Community Relations Coordinator, International Visitor Leadership Program Coordinator, and Grant Writer.
Prior to her work at PAAC, Niki worked for the State of Hawaii Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism Beijing Office where she promoted Hawaii educational opportunities to Chinese students. She also worked at the World Trade Centers Association Pavilion during the Shanghai World Expo in 2010 under the direction of Ms. Annie Wu. She has spent more than eight years in China, namely: Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and speaks conversational Mandarin Chinese.
