After graduating from Hawaii Pacific University in 1995 (MSIS), Mr. Jussi Sipola has had an extensive Hawaii-based career architecting and integrating information system solutions for organizations ranging from software start-ups to large private and public sector organizations in Hawaii and on the U.S. mainland. In his current role as the State of Hawai`i executive branch Enterprise Architect, Jussi leads the statewide IT portfolio planning and guides departments with their large technology modernization efforts.

Jussi and his wife Murielle, a Parisienne, have maintained a steady connection to both Finland and France by vacationing there each summer over the past decades – including volunteering in the construction crew for the Rantajatsit jazz festival in Raahe, Finland.

In his daily life in Hawai`i, Jussi continues his more than 30 years of Buddhist practice and volunteering. In his spare time Jussi enjoys open water swimming, occasional sessions of bodyboarding, composing music, and playing ice hockey.
