Ray L'Heureux is a career Marine Helicopter Pilot who achieved the rank of Colonel and commanded two different aviation squadrons. He commanded a combat heavy helicopter squadron at the LtCol level that deployed out of Kaneohe Marine Corps Air Station, and as a Colonel, he commanded HMX-1, responsible for the safety and security of the President of The United States while on board Marine One.

He served as the personal helicopter pilot for President George W Bush, and President Barack Obama. Ray is the author of “Inside Marine One”.

He currently serves as the President and Chair of The Education Institute of Hawaii and was a former Gubernatorial candidate for Governor of the state of Hawaii.
