Honorary Consul Debra Bennett

Debra is a third generation Slovenian-American, having traced her Slovenian roots back over 250 years, to 1774.

As a Senior VP for Ameriprise Financial Services, Debra leverages nearly 40 years of leadership experience in financial planning, consultation, and advice. Debra holds a Master of Science degree in Financial Services, and her professional designations include Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). 

Also active in several professional and community organizations, Debra is the past President and Chairman of the Board of the Hawaii Chapter of Financial Planning Association, a past Board member for Junior Achievement Honolulu, and an advocate for Make-A-Wish Foundation, Habilitat, Friends of Hawaii Robotics, and the Hawaii Foodbank.
